eco-INSTITUT-label - the new eco-Mark of Conformity
For more than 15 years the eco-INSTITUT tests and certifies construction products, mattresses, beddings and furniture meeting the strictest toxic and emission requirements.
Since 1st of August 2007 the eco-INSTITUT awards a new label, the eco-INSTITUT-label.
With substantial emission and toxicological testing living up to more than just the legal specifications we provide the interested clients a reliable and significant label for more quality and products without any health hazards.
The test criteria have been updated and the needs have been adapted to the requirements of the market. With extensive emissions and pollutant testing, which, with the eco-INSTITUT-label goes far beyond legal requirements, we can now offer a more reliable and meaningful mark of conformity to you to ensure the highest quality and the continuing health and safety of your products.

The new eco-INSTITUT-label will gradually replace our previous „Low emissions pollutant-examined product eco certificate“ mark of conformity as well as the "Ecological product examination eco certificate".
The deadline for the introduction of the new eco-INSTITUT-label is the 01.08.2007. Starting from this date our two eco certificates will no longer be assigned for new products. A transition period is possible for products designated with the Low emissions pollutant-examined product eco certificate as well as the Ecological product examination eco certificate until the 31.07.2008.
