US certification programme for floor coverings

The SCS certification programme FloorScore® enables manufacturers of floor coverings to demonstrate the conformity of their products with the requirements for low-emission products being used in US-based but globally applied building classification programmes such as LEED.

The tests are performed in conformance with the US recognised sustainability and environmental claims standards such as the CDPH standard method (formerly known as CA specification 01350) and ANSI/BIFMA M7.1 and X7.1.

Products bearing the SCS certification FloorScore® are listed in the Certified Green Products Guide.
