As the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) announced in mid-January 2020, four more substances have been added to the candidate list of substances of very high concern (SVHCs) for authorisation.

These are

  • Diisohexyl phthalate (CAS-Nr.: 71850-09-4 )
  • 2-benzyl-2-dimethylamino-4′-morpholinobutyrophenone (CAS-Nr.: 119313-12-1)
  • 2-methyl-1-(4-methylthiophenyl)-2-morpholinopropan-1-one (CAS-Nr.: 71868-10-5) and
  • Perfluorobutane sulfonic acid (PFBS) and its salts.

Thus, the candidate list now contains 205 substances.
