As announced by the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt) at the beginning of June 2025

The German Institute for Standardisation e.V., DIN, […] published a warning note on 29 April 2025 on DIN EN 1993-4-2:2017-09, which is referred to in No. A 1.2.4.1 of the MVV TB. According to the DIN warning note, the application of equations 7.15 and 7.20 contained in DIN EN 1993-4-2:2017-09 section 7 can lead to negative effects.
