On 3 September 2025, 21 new European Assessment Documents (EADs) were published in the Official Journal of the European Union, including five new EADs that describe a test following the EN 16516:
- EAD 020094-00-1107: Battery-powered hold-open with optional radio system
- EAD 090262-00-0404: Lightweight composite panels with expanded polymer or aluminium honeycomb core
- EAD 150059-00-0301: Natural binder made from “Scaglia Rossa” marl for construction mixtures
- EAD 260055-00-0301: Non-metallic expansive mixture based on calcium oxide for concrete
- EAD 340556-00-0506: Attic stair kits
In addition, one European assessment document describing a test in accordance with EN 16516 has been updated:
- EAD 090120-01-0404: Kits for non-load-bearing mineral board external wall systems
