As of now eco-INSTITUT Cologne is official testing partner of SCS Global Services (SCS), one of the oldest, most independent and trusted providers for environmental and sustainability certifications in the US. eco-INSTITUT is authorised to conduct volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions testing for the partner’s certification programs – SCS Indoor Advantage™, SCS Indoor Advantage™ Gold and FloorScore®.

These certification programs enable manufacturers of furniture, furnishings and construction products to demonstrate the conformity of their products with the requirements for low-emission products international building rating systems such as LEED.

The tests are performed in conformance with etsablished standards and test methods such as the CA specification 01350 and ANSI/BIFMA M1.1 and X7.1.
