EU: New regulations on formaldehyde emissions from products from August 2026
Die Verordnung (EU) 2023/1464 der EU Kommission vom 14. Juli 2023 zur Änderung des Anhangs XVII der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 1907/2006 des Europäischen Parlaments (REACH-Verordnung) und des Rates hinsichtlich Formaldehyd und Formaldehydabspaltern wurde am 17.07.2023 im EU Amtsblatt veröffentlicht
NOTE: Extension of CE recognition in the UK does not apply to construction products
On 1 August 2023, the British government announced an extension of the recognition of CE-marked products in the UK: this means that many product groups may continue to be placed on the British market only with a European CE marking after December 2024 for an unlimited period.
