DIN: Warning note on MVV TB published
As the German Institute for Structural Engineering (Deutsche Institut für Bautechnik - DIBt) announced in mid November 2024, German Institute for Standardisation (Deutsches Institut für Normung e.V. - DIN) published a warning note in mid November 2024 on the standard DIN EN 1993-4-1:2017-09.
DIBt: Introduction of VAT on ETAs not until 1 January 2027
The introduction of VAT on European Technical Assessments (ETA) by the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt) has been postponed again, as announced by the DIBt in a message on its website on 9 December 2024. The new deadline is 1 January 2027.
EU: Specification of the new ETA procedure
The European Commission has updated its website on voluntary CE marking (EOTA route) and for the first time provided detailed insights into the changes to the European Technical Assessment (ETA) procedure associated with the amended Construction Products Regulation (CPR).
