At the end of January 2024, ECHA (European Chemicals Agency) launched a new database – ECHA CHEM – to share information on chemical substances with the public.

The first version of the database contains information from over 100,000 REACH registrations submitted by companies to ECHA. Later this year, the database will be expanded to include the redesigned Classification and Labelling Inventory, followed by regulatory lists.

ECHA CHEM is the new system of ECHA’s current information platform, which was launched in 2016 and now contains information on more than 360,000 chemicals.
