On 7 May 2025, 14 new European Assessment Documents (EADs) were published in the Official Journal of the European Union, including seven new EADs that describe a test in accordance with EN 16516:

• EAD 030310-00-0605 Insulating foils as barrier against substances with relevance to indoor air quality’
• EAD 030927-00-0404 Adhesive backed polymeric films for use on glass in buildings
• EAD 040949-00-1201 Minerally-bonded boards made of wood chips 
• EAD 042051-00-0502 Natural cork-based mats to be used for thermal and impact sound insulation 
• EAD 042461-00-1201 Hydrophilic thermal insulation product made of mineral wool for water retention in green roofs and similar applications
• EAD 210195-00-0404 Ultra-thin natural stone veneer sheets for internal and external wall finishes and roof coverings
• EAD 260054-00-0301 Shrinkage reducing admixture for concrete

In addition, two European assessment documents describing a test in accordance with EN 16516 have been updated:

• EAD 040011-01-1201 Vacuum insulation panels with factory-applied protection layers
• EAD 130089-01-0304 Structural finger-jointed, wet, cold or wet and cold glued solid timber
