In December 2017, Environmental Label Jury  hold a meeting and among others revised basic award criteria RAL-UZ 117 (upholstered furniture) and RAL-UZ 119 (mattresses).

These have now been published on the website of the Blue Angel. The new criteria for upholstered furniture can be found here and for mattresses here. The previous versions will remain valid until the end of 2018.

eco-INSTITUT is recognized Blue Angel testing laboratory and is authorized to test construction products, floor coverings, leather, mattresses, furniture and doors according to the Blue Angel criteria – the focus is on VOC emissions. More information can be found here.
