eco-INSTITUT with new company logo and better differentiation between testing and certification body

eco-INSTITUT is modernising its appearance: The company now has a new company logo. eco-INSTITUT has opted for a different design in order to enable a better differentiation between the logo of the company’s own quality label, the eco-INSTITUT-Label (the design of which remains unchanged), and the company’s logo.

DIN EN 16516: new analytical reference method for formaldehyde tests of wood-based materials according to Chemical Prohibition Ordinance (ChemVerbotsV)

On November 26th, 2018, German Federal Gazette (BAnz AT 26.11.2018 B2 – in German only) published DIN EN 16516, a new reference method for measuring formaldehyde emissions from coated and uncoated wood based on Annex 1 of the Chemical Prohibition Ordinance (ChemVerbotsV).

Starting February 2019: new duty of declaration for emissions from construction products

In January 2018 the German version of European testing standard DIN EN 16516 for determination of emissions into indoor air was published.
