Construction products: German government files suit against EU commission
As the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB) announced in a press release the Federal Government filed a suit against EU commission on April 19, 2017.

GOTS 5.0 published
Version 5.0 of the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) has been released. GOTS is the worldwide recognized standard for the processing of textiles made with 95 percent (label grade “organic”) or at least 70 percent (label grade “made with organic”) certified organic fibres.
EU-Ecolabel: Floor covering of wood, cork and bamboo are new product group
As published on February 2nd, 2017, in the Official Journal of the European Union notified C (2017)303, the commission decided to define criteria for EU-Ecolabel for floor coverings of wood, cork and bamboo.
