Label for furniture

Golden M is the quality mark of the German Furniture Quality Assurance Association (Deutsche Gütegemeinschaft Möbel – DGM) which is part of the German Quality Assurance Association RAL.

The quality assurance, founded in 1973, follows RAL-GZ 430 (“General quality assurance and test criteria for furniture”) and focuses during furniture testing on stability, service durability and meeting of limit values for  health-hazarduous substances (formaldehyde, residues of solvents etc.), volatile compounds (alkanes, esters, terpene, ketones, hydrocarbones etc.) and biocides, CFC, flame retardents and heavy metals.

Das Goldene M ist das Prüfsiegel der Deutschen Gütegemeinschaft Möbel e.V. (DGM) unter dem Dachverband RAL – Deutsches Institut für Gütesicherung und Kennzeichnung e.V.
