European quality label for sutainable construction products

natureplus® quality label marks environmentally-friendly construction products being non-hazarduous to health.

The focus is environment, health and sustainability. The quality label is awarded by the International Association for Sustainable Building and Living - natureplus e.V.   which developed the label in cooperation with several testing bodies (among those eco-INSTITUT).

The products have to pass an extensive pretest and must comply with the requirements of the basic criteria.

Only products consisting of a high percentage of renewable and/or mineral raw materials are applicable for the certification.

The main tests contain an inspection of manufacturing plant, life cycle analysis and an extensive laboratoring testing on emissions, harmful contents and odour.

About natureplus

The aim of natureplus is the fostering of sustanable development in the building industry. The association being founded in 2001 emerged through an initiative of  German specialiast trade ode construction products, e.g. Federal Association of the German Building Materials Trade and some relevant trading enterprises.
